1984 company was founded by Reinhard Bentrup; Development of the standard model TC 405 for the ceramic craft
1991 Construction of a new location in the Fernwald industrial area (near Giessen); Research and development work on a complete product range
1999 Founding of bentrup industrial controls, inc. in Santa Barbara, California; Worldwide expansion also through related applications, etc. in heat treatment
2005 Multi-channel process controller TC-M2 with PLC and PC visualization; Automatic assembly, testing and calibration stations
2012 relocation to over 2000 square meters of production area; Fully automatic SMD production line
2017 bentrup becomes part of the Internet of Things (IoT) with SuperWise
2021 New offices in Liberec/CZ and Capetown/RSA
